A metacognitive programme, developed by Louis Benjamin, to develop the thinking, reasoning and scholastic functioning of young children (5yrs-8yrs) who experience learning difficulties.
European Association for Decision Making
The purpose of EADM is the advancement and diffusion of knowledge about human judgement and decision making and the interchange of information relating to this subject between the members and other associations throughout the world as well as between members and other interested institutions and/or individuals. EADM is responsible for organising the biannual SPUDM conference - Subjective Probability, Utility and Decision Making.
Mind, Meaning and Rationality Research Group
Established in June 2004 by the Open University's Department of Philosophy, the central aim of this Group is to promote research in the philosophy of mind and epistemology, together with specific topics in other areas that relate closely to the themes of mind, meaning and rationality – for example, decision theory in ethics.
Society for Judgment and Decision Making
An interdisciplinary academic organization dedicated to the study of normative, descriptive, and prescriptive theories of decision. Its members include psychologists, economists, organizational researchers, decision analysts, and other decision researchers.
Society for Medical Decision Making
The mission of the SMDM is to improve health outcomes through the advancement of proactive systematic approaches to clinical decision making and policy-formation in health care by providing a scholarly forum that connects and educates researchers, providers, policy-makers, and the public.
